WE NEED YOUR HELP! Can you give just a few hours a month? Volunteer opportunities are available for both adults and children.

Dog and Cat Socialization and Exercise     This involves walking and playing with the dogs to keep them comfortable with human interaction and increase their adoptability. It also involves playing with the cats and kittens.

Office Support and Shelter Maintenance     Volunteers are needed to assist with general office duties such as answering phones, making copies and assisting the public at the shelter. Improvements always need to be made to the building.

Special Events and Fundraising     Some of the special events include the Walk for Paws, dog washes,
thrift sale, grant writing and extra-added events. Community awareness and advertising are needed both for the shelter and special events.

Volunteer Responsibilities
